ABOUT US

We shall equip the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love (Ephesians 4:12-16).

OF THE FALL OF MAN
We believe that man was created in holiness, under the law of his Maker, but by voluntary transgression fell from that holy, happy state; in consequence of which all mankind are now sinners, not by constraint but by choice; being by nature utterly void of that holiness required by the law of God, positively inclined to evil; and therefore under just condemnation to eternal ruin; without defense or excuse.
OF THE WAY OF SALVATION
We believe that salvation of sinners in wholly of grace; through the Mediatorial office of the Son of God, who by the appointment of the Father, freely took upon him our nature, yet without sin; honored the divine law by his personal obedience, and by his death made a full atonement for our sins; that having risen from the dead, he is now enthroned in heaven; and uniting in his wonderful person the tenderest sympathies with divine perfections, he is every way qualified to be a suitable, a compassionate, and all-sufficient Savior.
OF THE BAPTISM AND THE LORDS SUPPER
We believe that Christians baptism is the immersion in water of a believer, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost to show forth in a solemn and beautiful emblem, our faith in the crucified, buried and risen Savior, with its effect, in our death to sin and resurrection to a new life; that it is prerequisite to the privileges of a church relation; and to the Lord's Supper, which the members of the church by the sacred use of bread and wine, are to commemorate together the dying love of Christ; preceded always by a solemn self-examination.
